Runners pass safely through Customs and into the United States at the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel during the 2010 Detroit Marathon. The Detroit-Windsor Tunnel runs under the Detroit River and separates the United States (Detroit, Michigan) from Canada (Windsor, Ontario). Runs emerge out of the tunnel right at the 8 mile mark of the race to complete the remainder of the race inside the U.S.
